In brief
- We only process data you send us or that we need to schedule and deliver Vocal recording, Mixing and other studio services.
- No advertising cookies, no profiling, and no sale of data to third parties.
- Session recordings stay on your project; we do not train AI models on client material.

1. Who we are
Mordancyedge B.V. ("we"), a private limited company (B.V.), registered at Wibautstraat 137, 1091 GL Amsterdam, is the controller of personal data collected through mordancyedge.digital and in direct contact with you: contact enquiries, quotes, bookings, recording, mix/master work and billing.
Our recording studio in Amsterdam-Oost offers vocal recording, mixing, mastering, podcast recording and demo recording. We process data in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Dutch GDPR Implementation Act. We have not appointed a data protection officer; that is not required for our size.

2. Scope
This policy applies to website visitors, people who contact us and clients who contract with us. It explains what we process, why, how long we keep it and your rights.
When we record guests, presenters or artists on behalf of a business client, that client is the controller for those individuals' data. We then act as processor under our data processing agreement. Contractual terms for sessions appear in our terms and conditions.
3. Data we process
Contact form: name, email address, phone (optional), chosen service, preferred date (optional) and your project message. Required fields are needed to reply; without an email we cannot send a quote.
Booking and delivery: billing details, artist or band name, schedule, email and phone exchanges, payment references. A deposit of 30% of the session fee may apply under article 6 of our terms. Published rates such as €98 for Vocal recording include 21% VAT.
Recordings and project files: voice, instruments and other audio you supply or we capture are personal data when they identify you. We keep session files in our studio environment for follow-up and revisions (up to 2 revision rounds where relevant).
Technical data: TransIP B.V. processes server logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser) to secure the site. Your cookie choice is stored locally; see our cookie policy.
We do not ask for special-category data. If you book on behalf of someone under 16, a parent or legal guardian provides the information.

Your information is never traded to brokers or list vendors. We run no mailing lists. You may cancel without charge until 7 days before the booked session, as set out in our terms.
5. Voice, publicity and artificial intelligence
Your voice and performance remain your project. We publish no recording excerpts, session photos or client names on mordancyedge.digital or social media without your prior written consent.
Client audio stays out of machine-learning pipelines: we neither benchmark models on it nor build synthetic voices from it unless the person gives explicit written approval.
Practical guides live in our knowledge base, for example vocal warm-up before recording and deliver stems for mixing.
6. Recipients and processors
Within Mordancyedge, only team members who need your file for scheduling, engineering or admin can access it. External recipients may include:
- TransIP B.V. (Vondelingenweg 107, 3083 LL Rotterdam, the Netherlands), hosting mordancyedge.digital and email in the Netherlands;
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co, United States), forwarding the contact form to our mailbox;
- our accountant, for billing data under confidentiality;
- our bank, for payments;
- authorities, when the law requires it.
Every party that processes on our behalf has a contract meeting Article 28 GDPR. Business clients should read the data processing agreement.
7. Transfers outside the EEA
Hosting and email sit with a Dutch provider. The contact form runs through FormSubmit in the United States: your message content may be processed there briefly before it reaches us. This transfer is necessary to handle your request (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR). You may also email [email protected] or call 020 244 9183 directly to avoid that transfer.
8. Security
We apply appropriate measures: HTTPS on the site, restricted system access, strong passwords, locked premises outside sessions, and deletion of working files after the retention period. No online transfer is completely risk-free; once we hold data, we limit access to what is needed.
If a breach poses a risk to your rights, we notify the Dutch Data Protection Authority where required and inform you when the law demands it.
9. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Send a request to [email protected] or by post to Wibautstraat 137, 1091 GL Amsterdam. We respond within one month; complex cases may be extended by two months with an explanation. We may verify identity if in doubt.
You may lodge a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Dutch DPA), autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl. We prefer you contact us first via contact; many issues are resolved quickly.
10. Cookies
Analytics and ad trackers are absent from mordancyedge.digital. The banner stores your decision locally as mrdn_consent_v1 for 182 days. Adjust it through or read the cookie policy.
11. Links to other sites
Some pages, including contact, point to map providers or other third-party sites. Their data practices are governed by those operators, not by Mordancyedge.
12. Status and changes
This policy is informational and does not limit your statutory rights. Effective: 14 October 2026. Last updated: 14 October 2026. Material changes are published here and, where appropriate, emailed to active clients.
