Accessibility statement

1. Scope

This statement covers the website mordancyedge.digital and the physical recording studio of Mordancyedge B.V. at Wibautstraat 137, 1091 GL Amsterdam (Amsterdam-Oost). It is for visitors, clients and partners who want to know how we approach accessibility.

The Dutch version is authoritative; this English text is provided for information. We do not publish a separate WCAG certificate; this page describes our current status and plans.

2. Our commitment

Mordancyedge wants everyone to request a quote, browse services and, after booking, work safely in our studio. That aligns with European accessibility rules for digitally offered services and with general non-discrimination law in the Netherlands.

We test site changes manually and with tools where available. We cannot promise perfection, but we take reports seriously and prioritise fixes that affect real users.

3. Website — current measures

On mordancyedge.digital we aim to provide, among other things:

• text alternatives for meaningful images via alt text from our image set;
• a logical heading structure and one clear main title per page;
• sufficient colour contrast between text and background in our design;
• keyboard-accessible navigation and forms on contact;
• a cookie banner with equal choices, see cookie policy;
• language choice between Dutch and English on the site.

Embedded maps or external links may have different accessibility levels. See our privacy policy for data processing.

4. Known online limitations

At present, points to be aware of include:

• custom cursor or animation effects may distract; we review whether they respect prefers-reduced-motion;
• not every page has been tested with all screen reader and browser combinations;
• older PDFs or email attachments fall outside this site and may be less accessible.

Report concrete issues with page URL and device; we investigate and follow up.

5. Physical studio and route

Our studio is at Wibautstraat 137. Wibautstraat 137 sits between metro Wibautstraat (M51, M53, M54) and Amsterdam Amstel. From metro Wibautstraat it is about a 4-minute walk. Tram 1 stops at Wibautstraat; bus 755 serves the Amstel station side. Street-level entrance with a step-free lobby. Opening hours: Monday–Friday 10:00–19:00, Saturday 11:00–17:00. Closed on Sunday. Sessions outside these hours on request..

The lobby is step-free. Inside the studio there are level changes, narrow corridors and sound isolation; tell us when booking if you use a wheelchair, walker, assistance dog or other support so we can suggest a suitable room and schedule. The live room fits about 6 people; iso booths are compact.

6. Support during your visit

We can help with extra time for soundcheck, clear verbal instructions, large-print text on request, or bringing a personal assistant. We do not charge an extra studio hourly rate solely for an assistant, only normal session time under your booking.

7. Feedback and enforcement

If you hit an accessibility barrier on the site or in the studio, contact us via contact with the subject accessibility. We acknowledge receipt and aim for a fix or workaround within a reasonable time.
